You have to make sure your heart is a complete path. Or you can try make it a compound path if you’re struggling. So go up to object then compound path and make. Or object then path and join. Try one of those. If you’re still struggling please message me on instagram I’ll try help! :)

this is actually frustrating me. why is it when I hit blend on the two layers it doesn’t make the back layer bigger like yours, it blends the whole thing together

@@micainreallife7953 you have to make sure the objects in each layer are either grouped or a compound path. I apologize I didn’t explain that in the video very well. I made this video awhile ago and was just learning how to make tutorials. If you’re still struggling please message me on instagram I will try help as much as I can :)

Hi! Thanks for the comment! You can probably add the halftones dots the same way it’s added to the front text like in this video but there would be a few extra steps as the shadows are a blend and you’d have to unite it to make it a simple shape. Hope that makes sense.

cause when I do the shift command O & ungroup I’m not able to move them around individually

@@micainreallife7953 hey! So to move the letters around individually you can either ungroup the whole word or use the direct select tool and click the shapes individually. To activate the direct select tool hit A on your keyboard.

LOL no bots but thanks for the feedback. Everyone starts somewhere with making videos, when I was creating this I was also learning how to create an informational video. Maybe I missed a few steps. This video is meant to teach people and if there’s something I’ve missed I apologize, I’m human. In regards to the pen tool and the infill, I used the colour tool to get rid of the infill. To find the colour tool you can go up to Window at the top of Illustrator and then look for the word “color” click that and then colour tool will open. Hope this helps!

Draw a straight line then go up to effect then distort and transform then zig zag and then move the settings around. Hope this makes sense! Msg me on instagram if you’re still having issues!

I’m confused by your question. Whenever you use the program everything is a vector.

No se si lograste hacerlo, pero podes probar con objeto>distorsionar. Mayormente las fuentes italic son con una distorsion de 10 proba con -10 y a ver si queda derecha
